Faced with economic reform and upgrade, and the rise of emerging industries, the positioning and construction of industrial parks have become more challenging. The different demands on land scales by different companies in different period will result in repeated revisions, repeated investment and waste of land resources. Therefore, there is a growing need on the flexibility in the planning of new industrial cities. In the master planning of Tianjin Future Science and Technology City Development Zone, from the perspective of low-impact development, we take seven elements into our consideration, including the quality, vitality, future, accessibility, smart development, ecology and 5-minute living circle. We aim to build a Future Science and Technology City that can provide world-class scientific research platform, attract world-class talents and produce world-class scientific and technological achievement.
