Gwangbok Street and PIFF Plaza, located at the central commercial area of Busan, is faced with several economic downward pressure due to limited space, traffic congestion and loss of cultural heritage. How to use potential historical and cultural heritage to revitalize this area in a creative way is our core consideration. In our design, we consider Gwanbok Area as an urban cinema with the history and future of Gwangbok Street as main characteristics, while the dynamic and energetic living here is the movie scene. The regional traffic is adjusted with pedestrians as priority and this area can be accessed by different entries, to achieve the distribution of people. Through diversified designs and solutions, the residential area will become a 7/24 vibrant area and the Gwangbok Street will become a 16:9 Dolby IMAX Cinema.
