Dongshui Port Village, Chengmai (401 ha plan, 119 ha core), a千年 deep-water port with 1.3 km bay shoreline, lies within Haikou's half-hour commute, aligned with Free Trade Port marine economy goals. The plan tackles fragmented fabric, weak tourism infrastructure, and short industrial chains via a "Millennium Fishing Port · Trendy Coastal Village" strategy—applying heritage, vitality, and momentum pillars through ecological restoration, village renewal, creative programming, and three tour routes within a "one belt, three cores, two loops, multiple nodes" spatial framework, with phased implementation. Balancing fisheries with youth tourism and integrating ecology, community, and industry, the project leverages its ancient port identity to set a benchmark for integrated fishing-culture-tourism development in northern Hainan.
